20 miles along historic Route 50, the John S. Mosby Highway, and includes brief histories of 6 sites from Mount Zion Church near Gilbert’s Corner to the Aldie Mill, the village of Middleburg, Goose Creek Stone Bridge, the village of Upperville and the village of Paris. Historic Route 17

Crooked Run Valley: Paris Virginia to Delaplane Virginia
The view from Ashby Gap above the village of Paris looking south through the Crooked Run Valley is one of the most spectacular in northeast Virginia. The old Shenandoah Road, now known as the Winchester Road or Rt. 17, winds 8 miles through the valley between the villages of Delaplane and Paris, and contains many historic homes. Old Carolina Road

US Rte 15 from Gilbert’s Corner VA to Point of Rocks MD
Brief histories of 34 historical sites on historic Route 15 between Gilbert’s corner and the Point of Rocks bridge on the Potomac River at the Maryland border. The Old Carolina Road, which travels through Loudoun County, was originally an Indian trail. Includes a guide map and brief site descriptions. Designed by Maria Nicklin and written by Kim Williams.
