Christopher Needels, president emeritus of the Mosby Heritage Area Association, states, “Many organizations have dedicated themselves to the preservation of our piece of the Commonwealth, and have helped stave off the forces of wanton destruction of the Piedmont and its environs.  While working in unison and with synergy, each has a niche.  For the Mosby Heritage Area Association ours is education! We believe that if those who live here and those who visit see, feel and understand our special place, they will join in the efforts to preserve that which when lost, can never be recovered.  They, too, can become the stewards and the preservers.”
