The
MHAA elects a new President
Christopher Needels has been elected as the new President of the Mosby Heritage
Area Association. Chris, a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy, is currently
the Executive Director of the U.S. Parachute Association. Prior to that he was
the director at P.E.C. for the ultimately successful "Disney Take a Second
Look" campaign.
Beginning in 1988 as his final assignment of a 28 year Army
career, Col. Needels served 4 years on the White House Staff.
During this time
he had the opportunity to train President George H. W. Bush the art of skydiving.
He has received 2 awards each of the Silver Star, Distinguished Flying Cross
and Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, and numerous peacetime awards.
Chris lives
with his wife, veterinarian Dr. Conya Needels, in Prince William County in the
town of Nokesville. Our outgoing President, Merritt Jones has kindly agreed to
become a member of the Advisory Board and Chairman of the Education Committee. |
