1. Compact Disc - Historical Events of the Mosby 43rd Virginia Battalion, 1863-1865 from Truro Church in Fairfax to Atoka-Part 1.

This CD Tour takes the visitor through parts of Mosby’s Confederacy beginning at Truro Church in Fairfax where Mosby made a daring capture behind Federal lines of a Union General, Edwin Stoughton. The tour continues west along Route 50 making stops at Germantown, Fair Oaks Memorial, Cub Run, Pleasant Valley Church, Lenah, Mt. Zion Church, Aldie Mill, Dover, Middleburg and ends in Atoka. Approximately 25 miles, 10 stops Written by Horace Mewborn, author of 43rd Battalion Virginia Cavalry.

2. Compact Disc - Historical Events of the Mosby 43rd Virginia Battalion, 1863-1865 from Truro Church in Fairfax to Atoka-Part 2.

This second tour into Mosby’s Confederacy begins at Rector’s Crossroads (Atoka today) and follows Rt. 50 into Clarke County ending at Snickers Gap on Rt. 7. The tour includes the fight at Mt. Carmel Church, west of Ashby’s Gap, the surrender negotiations at Millwood, and the Berryville Wagon Train Raid. The tour is approximately 1hour and 30 minutes long.

3. Compact Disc - Prelude to Gettysburg

When General Robert E. Lee moved north up the Shenandoah Valley toward Gettysburg, he ordered Jeb Stuart to screen the Confederate advance from Federal troops east of the Blue Ridge. On a hot, dusty day in June of 1863, Federal horsemen collided with Stuart's pickets at Aldie and began five days of fierce cavalry actions moving west through Middleburg and culminating in the Battle of Upperville, where 10,000 troops were engaged. 4. Compact Disc - In the Wake of Antietam

Sandwiched between the great battles of Antietam and Fredericksburg, three smaller, seemingly-insignificant engagements took place at Philomont, Unison and Upperville. The tour takes the listener from Lovettsville in Loudoun County to Rectortown in Fauquier County while traveling through some of the most scenic countryside of the Mosby Heritage Area. Approximately 25 miles. 10 stops. Written by Horace Mewborn. Narrated by Robert O’Neill.

5. Mosby Heritage Area Map (detail shown)

The Mosby Heritage Area Map was created by Eugene Scheel for the Mosby Heritage Area Association. The map includes Civil War battle sites, Mosby sites, historic homes, churches, Native American sites, and early road ways. The area shown on the map extends to the Shenandoah River on the west and the Manassas National Battlefield and the Loudoun County line on the east. The map includes most of Loudoun County and Fauquier County south to Warrenton. The map is 3’x3’ in size on a cream background.

6. Mosby Heritage Area Lapel Pin

The Mosby Heritage Area Association has created this attractive lapel pin with the organization’s famous logo. The pin depicts a gold colored horseman in relief riding across a black enameled background. Written around the edge of the pin are MOSBY HERITAGE AREA and VIRGINIA in gold relief on a dark gray enameled background. The pin was designed by W. Bristol Classics of Bristol, Tennessee exclusively for the Mosby Heritage Area Association.

7. Mosby Heritage Area Hat (Green is shown)

This attractive cap displays the logo of the Mosby Heritage Area. The horseman is stitched in gold on a black background. The outer circle is gold with black lettering; MOSBY HERITAGE AREA and VIRGINIA. The hat manufactured by Adams Fashion Headwear is adjustable to any size. Hats come in green, black and brown.

8. Got Mosby T-Shirt

This t-shirt plays with the famous “Got Milk” commercial and a quote attributed to Col. John S. Mosby when he captured Gen. Edwin Stoughton at Fairfax Courthouse in March of 1863. The front displays the question, “Got Mosby?” On the back the answer, “No—Mosby’s Got You!” is displayed with the Mosby Heritage Area Association’s logo and citing the quote’s origins. The t-shirt is a gray color with red print.

9. MHAA Polo Shirt

The MHAA is introducing its MHAA polo shirts online for the first time.  These handsome shirts come in gray, navy, and pine green with a Mosby Heritage Area insignia on the left front.  The shirts are made by Outer Banks, a noted name in polo shirts.  You can get the shirt in small, medium, large and
X-large for $40 each (or XX-large for $44 each- order form only), shipping and handling included. 

If you are a Mosby Heritage Area Association member, you can receive a 20% discount.  You will need to use the order form method of paying and note on the form that you are a member and are getting the 20% discount.
